Nowadays it’s pretty easy to get anything you want delivered right to your doorstep—but in most cases you still have to do the actual shopping and curating for yourself. That’s where Style Lyrical comes in – a new fashion service which does your personal styling and delivers you a complete wardrobe box to your home!
I first met the Style Lyrical founder Adela Hussain at a Red Smart Women event in the summer. After years of flying around Europe as a management consultant, squeezing in clothes shopping at Heathrow Terminal 5 on an early Monday morning she knew first hand how hard it can be to fit in fashion buying while holding down a fast paced, demanding job – for which you needed to look well turned out!
So last year she launched Style Lyrical, an ingenious shopping service which is pain free, fun and super easy. After registering online with your size details, a picture and style needs, and a one off fee of £19.99 you then have a personal style consultation on the phone to go through your taste, body shape and needs. After this, your personal stylist puts together a capsule wardrobe by interesting Dutch and Scandi labels along with a selection of bespoke style cards with outfit suggestions of how to put the looks together. About 5 days later a wonderful box of goodies arrives, beautifully packaged for you to try out at home. From here you decide what you’d like to buy and return everything else in the pre-paid DHL box! How easy is that!!
Luckily for me, I bumped into Adela in our local gym a month ago and she invited me to try the service which is ingenious and fun. It was intriguing to have clothes selected for you and quite a craft to get it right. See below a selection of my favourite Style Lyrical outfits!
These leather jeans are butter soft and I loved the forest green colour. They are also very stretchy so give a great shape and are super comfortable.
I haven’t worn a jumper dress since the 1980s! This one is super comfy and can be cinched in with a cute belt.
I very rarely wear skirts, and as Adela said, a leather pencil skirt always goes down well with the guys. My husband gave it a thumbs up! 🙂
